Milton Cycle Industries Limited started as a bicycle manufacturing but now has completely established as a full-fledged bicycle manufacturing plant. It has been in operations for more than 56 years now, it has started in 1960. The company is was initially involved in the manufacturing of bicycle parts like chains, freewheels, and BB Axles for Atlas Cycles (Haryana) Limited.

It was in 2006 that MCIL developed its complete bicycle manufacturing unit. They today provide a wide variety of bicycle models that cater to kids, fancy, roadsters. These are marketed through its dealer-distributor network in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Nepal, etc. Their CC Limits has also been given a BB+ Rating by ICRA. Milton is also the largest shareholder in Atlas Cycles (Haryana) with 10% outstanding shares.

Milton cycles has its manufacturing unit located in Sonepat which is the industrial hub of Haryana. It has produced a facility built over 7.5 acres and is also capable of producing 5000 units per day.

However, their operating margin is only in the range of 2% to 3% and also faces huge competition from Chinese products that are cheaper.
